Job Title: Welder: Transformer Manufacturing 

Department: Metal Fabrication 

Work Location: Pine Bluff, AR

Reports To: Production Supervisor 

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Introduction:

As a Welder at Central Moloney, you play a vital role in the fabrication and assembly of essential components in the manufacturing of electrical transformers. Your skills and attention to detail ensure the highest quality standards in our products, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks on various metals, following blueprints and specifications.
• Assemble metal structures and components, ensuring precision and quality.
• Conduct inspections of welded areas to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Utilize various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
• Document and maintain records of welding tasks and inspections.

Requirements

Additional Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures relevant to welding.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina to perform welding tasks for extended periods.
• Pass a welding test as part of the interview process.
