Overview:

As a Welcome Desk Receptionist , you'll be the face of our store, offering warm, personalized service to every customer. From greeting customers on the phone or in person to helping them through their shopping journey, you'll create memorable experiences that turn into lifelong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence:
    Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm over the phone, via virtual chat, and in person. Adapt your communication style to meet the needs of each customer, ensuring a consistent Five-Star Customer Service experience.

  • Handling Multiple Tasks:
    Manage customer flow effectively using store systems and processes, delivering excellent service even when multitasking.

  • Conflict Resolution:
    Address customer concerns with confidence and know when to escalate issues to the leadership team.

  • Promote Services:
    Communicate the value of alterations and other personalization services, promoting them in collaboration with the Alterations team.

  • Operational Support:
    Support cash wrap behaviors and process transactions with accuracy to celebrate each customer's purchase. Assist with inventory management, processing orders, receiving merchandise, and ensuring first-quality standards.

  • Store Standards:
    Maintain store cleanliness and uphold high standards to ensure a flawless shopping experience for every customer.

  • Sales Support:
    Assist with visual updates, sales promotions, and ensuring the store is ready for every customer.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of retail experience, ideally in an apparel, service, or specialty store environment.

  • Customer Service Skills:
    Excellent verbal communication and phone skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and engage with customers in a friendly, empathetic manner.

  • Team Player:
    Ability to collaborate with the team to meet store goals, deliver exceptional service, and exceed customer expectations.

  • Physical Demands:
    Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and engage with customers for long periods. Comfortable using computers, phones, and other electronic devices.
