Responsibilities:

• As a Software Engineer Senior at GDIT, I will be focused on delivering simple solutions to complex problems. I will tailor cutting-edge solutions to meet the unique requirements of our clients while prioritizing the end user’s experience. My role will involve designing, developing, evaluating, planning, and testing engineering specifications for software programs and applications.
• Develop responsive web applications using ReactJS and Node, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement designs into functional user interfaces, adhering to best practices and design principles.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency in Azure cloud environments.
• Apply knowledge of user-centered design/human-centered design principles.
• Rapidly prototype/mockup solution design, look, feel, and aesthetics.

To succeed in this role, I will need a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and an active Secret clearance or higher. Preferred skills include familiarity with Azure App Service, Azure Active Directory, ReactJS, and Node JS.

I will be working primarily from Arlington, VA or Sterling, VA, with the possibility of less than 10% travel required. The standard work schedule is 40 hours per week, and positioning will be onsite.

Our likely salary range for this position is between $127,500 - $172,500, depending on my experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
