JOB TITLE: Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator

Summary:
Operates through-hole or SMT automatic assembly equipment to produce high-quality, complex printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies.
Responsible for set-up, operation, and routine maintenance of assembly equipment.
Manually or semi-automatically screen print solder paste.
Operates adhesive dispensing equipment.
Loads components (in tubes or reels) onto feeders and places feeders onto placement equipment.
May hand place some SMT components.
Places assembled PCBs into solder reflow ovens.
Uses standard electronic hand tools (solder, flux, and adhesive) when necessary.
Follows drawings, visual aids, and other instructions to identify and resolve defects.
Requirements:
Experience with moderately complex Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing processes, including both automated equipment and manual assembly.
Proficient in performing SMT tasks such as inspection, AOI equipment setup, operation, and adjustments.
Skilled in operating additional SMT equipment, including X-ray systems, stencil printers, and related tools.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
