**Duration: 9 months** **Job Description** In support of our commitment to enabling, expanding and enhancing interactions with our customers, Client is now developing speech and language technology. We are seeking experienced full and part-time Speech and Language Annotators to transcribe and annotate speech. The candidate will work under the direction of the Annotation Program Manager, and must be capable of delivering high quality under aggressive time constraints. Specifically, the Annotator will: + Provide hands-on transcription and annotation services. + Translate established guidelines into daily work practices. + Work with management on workload scheduling and deliverables. In this role, you will get to show your exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. You will also capitalize on your: + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. + Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly analyze data to draw and present conclusions with actionable steps. + Ability to work efficiently on tasks while maintaining a high-level of accuracy. + Ability to multitask across several speech domains and work autonomously with minimum direction. **Basic Qualifications** To be in consideration for this role you must possess: + High School diploma/GED. + Native language speaker in one of the following languages: Canadian French, French, Dutch, German, Spanish + Excellent English skills. Must be bilingual. + Computer literacy. + Ability to type 50 wpm. + Communication skills and experience working with technical teams. + Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment. **Typical day:** + 50% data localization and data annotation- looking at the outlook from the internal tool and take action on next steps + 25%-50% deep diving into defects; looking at the outcomes and working with subject matter experts + Remainder of time adhoc testing, developing, etc. **Must haves Experience:** + 1-2 years of experience + Advanced college if no professional years of experience **Nice to haves:** + Worked at the professional environment before + Past experience in transcription or localization + Came from print media + Worked in language in some way previously **Must Have requirement:** + Native language speaker in one of the following languages: 1) Canadian French, 2) Dutch, 3) Hindi + Excellent English skills.
