We are seeking a dynamic Social Media, Event, and Community Coordinator to help us engage and connect with our community through creative content and meaningful events.

Position Summary
 The Social Media, Event, and Community Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of Blue Skys’ social media strategy, coordinating community outreach events, and enhancing brand presence through thoughtful engagement with local organizations and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a creative and organized professional who can elevate Blue Skys’ visibility and foster meaningful relationships with both online audiences and local communities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Coordination:
• Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts etc.).
• Monitor social channels for engagement opportunities, respond to comments, and engage with followers.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop cohesive photo, video, and graphic content that upholds and strengthens brand consistency & creativity.
• Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to track campaign performance and optimize strategies.
2. Event Coordination:
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing Blue Sky-sponsored events, including community outreach activities, customer appreciation events, and internal team gatherings.
• Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, vendor management, promotional materials, and staffing.
• Promote events through social media, email marketing, and community outreach to maximize participation and engagement.
3. Community Engagement:
• Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, charities, and community groups to support Blue Skys’ community initiatives.
• Serve as the point of contact for community partnerships and charitable events, identifying new opportunities to increase brand awareness and goodwill.
• Attend and represent Blue Sky at community events, networking opportunities, and professional gatherings.
4. Content Creation & Management:
• Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content for social media, blogs, and other digital platforms.
• Assist in managing the content calendar to ensure timely and relevant posts.
5. Brand Advocacy & Awareness:
• Serve as a brand ambassador, actively promoting Blue Skys services, values, and commitment to the community.
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to increase brand visibility and market reach.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in social media management, event planning, or community outreach.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and community building.
• Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
