Job Description

Jamisons in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for one bartender/server to join our team. We are located in Dormont at 3113 West Liberty Ave.

Our ideal candidate is friendly, attentive, motivated, and hard-working. We are known for our friendly staff and our amazing burgers. Front of the house staff makes $5.00 an hour plus their tips. Staff averages $25-$40 an hour in tips. Serious applicants only will be considered so please have your references with phone numbers and experience listed when you apply. Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
• Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Present menu and explain menu
• Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a bartender and server
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate
• Food serving and order taking experience
