Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team in Willoughby, Ohio. In this role, you will oversee key HR functions such as employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and onboarding processes. This is a Contract to permanent position, providing an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic environment and contribute to organizational success. Responsibilities: - Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations. - Manage employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, investigating complaints, and coaching supervisors. - Oversee recruitment activities including interviews, background checks, and onboarding processes. - Administer employee benefits programs and assist with tracking certifications and compliance-related training. - Maintain accurate HR records and ensure proper documentation in alignment with legal requirements. - Monitor and enforce compliance with employment laws, including anti-harassment training and wage regulations. - Collaborate with leadership to promote employee engagement and retention initiatives. - Conduct audits of HR processes and support compliance reporting as needed. - Partner with staffing agencies to manage contingent worker documentation and compliance. - Track and report HR metrics such as turnover rates, attendance, and engagement indicators. Requirements - Proven experience in HR Generalist roles, preferably in manufacturing or similar industries. - Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements. - Proficiency in HRIS systems and maintaining accurate personnel records. - Demonstrated ability to handle employee relations with discretion and consistency. - Experience in benefits administration and onboarding processes. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Ability to analyze and report on HR metrics and data. - Familiarity with training programs and compliance tracking.
