Our Client is seeking a DSP/Residential Aide to provide support and instruction to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a group home in the Hempstead area.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
* Ensure all activities are designed to foster growth to each individual's highest level of accomplishment.
* Ensure all care and services are delivered in a climate of normalization, care, and concern.
* Assist Consumers with daily nutrition and their medications.
* Transport Consumers to appointments (as needed)

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Valid Driver's License
* Ability to complete and pass mandated clearances
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Minimum of one (1) year experience working with the DDD population
