Shift: Days & Nights Available – 12 hour shifts (7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM)​

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit.​
2. Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, ensuring timely intervention as needed.​
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.​
4. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.​
5. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, post-discharge care, and preventive health measures.​
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.​

Qualifications:

1. Active and clear Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.​
2. Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).​
3. Minimum of one year of recent acute care experience in a medical-surgical setting.​
4. Proficiency in using the Epic EMR system is preferred.​
5. Willingness to float to other units as needed.​
6. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.​
