This Registered Nurse (RN) position requires at least one year of experience in labor and delivery and postpartum care. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. The role involves patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Floating between similar units is required.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to labor and delivery and postpartum patients.
- Performing patient assessments.
- Administering medications.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans.
- Collaborating with physicians, other nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Managing patient charts and documentation in Epic.
- Floating between similar units as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of one year of experience in labor and delivery and postpartum care.
- ACLS certification.
- AWHONN Intermediate certification.
- BLS certification.
- NRP certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- AWHONN Advanced certification.
Special Considerations:
- 4x12-hour shifts are available upon request.
- 36-hour orientation provided.
- Floating between similar units is required.
- The facility allows for one call-off per two-week pay period.
- Specific scrub color requirements for RNs.
- Hard-stop: Labor and Post-partum experience is required.
Scheduling:
- Shift type: 12-hour shifts.
- Shift assignment: Block scheduling is not available, but the manager may be able to accommodate requests.
