Position Overview:The Property and Liability Claims Adjuster will manage high-exposure, politically sensitive claims and lawsuits filed against the State of Arizona. These include cases such as bad faith, medical malpractice, highway design, DES/CPS care custody and control, employment, auto liability, personal injury, fatalities, serious physical injury, constitutional rights violations, and large property losses. The role also involves pursuing subrogation recoveries owed to the state.
This position requires advanced investigative, analytical, and negotiation skills to evaluate complex claims, prepare litigation reports, and collaborate with the Attorney General's Office to resolve lawsuits in the best interest of the State.
