Step onto our 2nd shift in Rochester, NY and take ownership of high-accuracy production in a climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facility. As a Precision CNC Machining Operator, you’ll keep parts moving, quality tight, and schedules on track.
Location: Rochester, NY | Shift: 2nd | Compensation: $20–$24/hour + 10% shift differential
You arrive to a clean, organized cell and review job specs for the first run. You set up the CNC mill or lathe, load tools, and dial in offsets. As parts run, you make basic G & M code edits to optimize cycle time and finish. Between runs, you measure critical features with calipers and micrometers, document results, and collaborate with your supervisor and fellow machinists to ensure everything meets standard. Before clocking out, you prep the area for the next operator—tools ready, chips cleared, and quality confirmed.
