Job Duties

Additional responsibilities include recording tutoring data, completing required training, and assisting with help desk duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing one).
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (if currently enrolled in college).
  • Two professional recommendations (one from an English faculty member preferred).

Additional Skills Requested

  • Patient, kind, and dependable, with a passion for helping others succeed.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain and reinforce writing concepts clearly.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, and Blackboard (or willingness to learn).
  • Professional demeanor when working with students, faculty, and staff.
