This position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse responsible for providing skilled nursing care during surgical procedures. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience in a relevant surgical specialty (cardiac, vascular, or thoracic experience preferred), and involves a variety of tasks related to patient care and collaboration within the operating room team.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care during surgical procedures.
- Assessing and monitoring patient condition before, during, and after surgery.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Preparing surgical instruments and equipment.
- Maintaining a sterile surgical field.
- Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Documenting patient care accurately and completely.
- Assisting with patient positioning and transfer.
- Responding to emergencies and providing immediate care as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse.
- BLS certification.
- Experience in at least one of the following surgical specialties: cardiac, vascular, or thoracic.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ACLS certification.
Special Considerations:
- The schedule is 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, for a 13-week assignment.
- The position is within an operating room (OR) setting.
Scheduling:
- 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
