An award winning Northern California nonprofit Medical Center is seeking an Outpatient Infusion Center Nurse Manager for their state of the art comprehensive Cancer Center.
The Nurse Manager Oncology infusion will have operational oversight of a state-of-the-art Infusion center, while leading a team of hard-working and dedicated healthcare professionals, including Clinic Supervisors, Staff Nurses, Clinical Nurse Educators, Infusion Techs, and Administrative Staff members. The Director of Acute Care Nursing is looking for an RN Manager Infusion Services who can achieve a safe, steady, and efficient workflow within the clinic. Reporting to the Program Director of Oncology and Director of Acute Care Nursing, the Registered Nurse Manager Infusion Services will be responsible for all administrative functions of the various practice locations.
The Nurse Manager Oncology Infusion should have a strong understanding of core operations, finance, and clinical skills required for oncology Nursing. By partnering with the Center Director and having knowledge of core clinical and quality practices will enable the Nurse Manager to plan and execute strategic goals and policies throughout the center. The Oncology Infusion RN Manager should have prior leadership experience in addition to certifications within outpatient Oncology, such as OCN and/or CRNI. Previous experience within a clinic and clinical setting will provide the RN Manager with the necessary knowledge required to lead their team of healthcare professionals day in, and day out.
Thee Medical Center is known for their aggressive and progressive cancer care approach of: minimally invasive robotic surgery, customized chemotherapy, brachytherapy radiation, and Cyber-knife Technology. The Radiation Oncology uses Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy and Image Guided Radiation Therapy.
