As the Front Desk Coordinator , you will be the welcoming face of our imaging center, serving as the initial point of contact for patients, referring physicians, and the general public. Note:  PRN indicates that the position is “as needed” or “on-call.” This means the employee will not have a regular, fixed schedule but will be called in to work based on the needs of the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and Welcoming : Ensure all patients and their families feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
• Patient Assistance : Anticipate and attend to the needs of our patients, providing exceptional customer service.
• Administrative Duties : Manage patient check-ins, answer and route telephone calls, schedule appointments, and handle front office tasks efficiently.
• Financial Transactions : Collect patient balances at the time of service, ensuring smooth and accurate financial processes.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior Experience:

• 0 - 2+ years of experience working in a customer support role or hospitality field

Special Qualifications:

• Strong customer service background and focus
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience working in a physician practice or other type of medical services office
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Prior patient collections experience in a medical setting
• Medical records experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
