Job Summary:

We're seeking a Laborer to assist with both grounds maintenance and building custodial work at Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery . The ideal candidate will help maintain the cemetery's appearance by performing landscaping tasks and general cleaning duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including pulling weeds, trimming, watering plants, mulching, planting, and spreading grass seed.
• Conduct building maintenance work, such as power washing, staining, painting, window washing, and general custodial cleaning.
• Operate and maintain landscaping and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining cemetery facilities and equipment .
• Follow all safety protocols and maintenance guidelines .
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of painting, staining, and power washing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Commitment to maintaining a respectful and dignified environment.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor and indoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Physical labor, including lifting, bending, and operating equipment.
