Full-time Teller Location La Porte, IN :

As a Full-time Teller , your day-to-day functions would include (but are not limited to):

• Provide exceptional care and customer service to our Members aligning with Tech Credit Union's Mission, Vision, and Core Values
• Answer our Member's questions and provide assistance with their accounts with courtesy and professionalism
• Explore financial products or services that may help our Members reach their financial goals
• Actively participate in the growth and advancement of Tech Credit Union
• Protect our Members' financial accounts by diligently following all procedures, government regulations, and security guidelines
• Open new accounts for Members
• Accurately and efficiently perform financial transactions such as
  • Deposit checks and cash to checking, savings, and club accounts
  • Apply loan payments
  • Prepare money orders and other financial instruments
• and more

Qualified Full-time Teller applicants for our La Porte branch will have:

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role; banking experience is desired
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• Strong active listening skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to use empathy
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to gain knowledge of new procedures, concepts, and products
• Cash handling experience
• A strong desire to help our Members with exceptional, friendly service
• Availability to work a 40-hour schedule between the hours of 7:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and 9:00-1:00 on Saturdays
