transportation service provider located in Orlando,FL New Office offering a remote working opportunity .

We are seeking freight Agent / Dispatchers who does not have an existing customer base.

As an independent agent, you solicit freight services from your customers, arrange the transportation, dispatch loads to drivers and monitor their freight to its final destination. We provide ALL of the back office administrative and support work so that you can focus on selling & moving freight.

We are an asset-based brokerage and trucking company looking to expand our freight agent network. If you have a book of business it is a plus but not needed

Preferred candidates should meet the following requirements...

Responsibilities:

Handle all incoming calls from drivers and customers.
Make Out bound cold calls to new potential customer.
Monitor electronic messages for the entire fleet and respond to drivers requests and inquiries accordingly.
Handle O.S.&D issues as they arise.
Handle all accidents as they arise.
Complete all computer work for Loaded Calls, Empty Calls, Relays, Etc.

Requirements:

Effective interpersonal skills and behaviors conducive to a service/team-oriented environment (e.g., diplomacy, tact, flexibility, positive approach).
Ability to plan and meet deadlines, prioritize, and handle several projects simultaneously.
Ability to be self-directing and to work with minimum of supervision.
Demonstrated effective problem-solving capability with creativity in providing solutions to new issues to exploring alternatives.
Ability to communicate effectively and employ a high level of diplomacy and tact both verbally and in writing.
Broad-based understanding of and proficiency in the use of PC's and other skills, which include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
Ability to work a 20 hours a week
1+ years experience B2B telemarketing or inside sales
Previous cold calling experience
Remote Home office Required
