Job Title: Fidelity Data Village Player Coach
Location: Westlake, Texas - Onsite

Overview: We are seeking an experienced team and technical leader to join NTT DATA's Data Village team as a Fidelity Data Village Player Coach. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 9 years of experience in leading teams and technical projects. The ideal candidate will perform data engineering tasks as well as serving as a mentor and coach to a team of approximately 4 data engineers, providing guidance on best practices, training opportunities, and broader context around business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of ~4 data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Provide opportunities for training and upskilling, and offer insights into business objectives.
• Hands-On Architecture and Engineering: Engage in hands-on architecture and engineering tasks within Fidelity's data organization. Support legal, risk, and compliance teams by producing reports, building data products for risk and fraud modeling, and performing data analysis to support Finance and HR functions. This may also expand into other areas such as data governance, data platform development/management, data engineering and pipelining and framework developmente/adoption.
• Backlog Prioritization and Resource Assignment: Interface directly with Fidelity teams to understand their priorities and assign resources accordingly. Ensure alignment with Fidelity's goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities where NTT DATA can provide additional thought leadership and support.
• Innovation and Automation: Ideate on innovation opportunities in the data management space. Apply GenAI and other automation techniques to improve productivity and enhance solution maturity.

Requirements:

• Experience: 9+ years of experience in team and technical leadership roles.
• Technical Skills: Strong background in data architecture and engineering, with experience in supporting legal, risk, compliance, finance, and HR functions.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor and coach data engineers, with a focus on best practices and continuous improvement.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface directly with Fidelity teams and understand their needs.
• Innovation Mindset: Ability to think creatively and identify opportunities for innovation and automation in the data management space.
• Work Schedule: Ability to work on-site at a Fidelity location 5 days a week, alternating 1 week in, 1 week remote.
