A growing and innovative family law firm is seeking a Senior Attorney to take the lead on client representation and case work. This is an opportunity for an experienced family law attorney who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering an exceptional client experience. This role is focused entirely on legal work and client advocacy. The ideal candidate thrives on taking ownership of their cases, moving matters forward proactively, and communicating consistently with clients. You will work closely with the firm owner, who will focus on business development and firm growth, while you handle the day-to-day representation of clients at the highest level. There is a significant opportunity for growth, including the potential for a future partnership for the right candidate. Responsibilities:

• Independently handle all aspects of family law cases from intake through resolution, including litigation, mediation, and settlement.
• Maintain consistent, professional, and timely communication with clients to ensure they always know the status of their case.
• Proactively move cases forward without the need for oversight.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements with precision and efficiency.
• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as required.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all case activity, including accurate and timely billing entries.
• Collaborate with the firm owner as needed on case strategy and client outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active license to practice law in Georgia.
• Minimum of 8 years of family law litigation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a full caseload.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail—must be able to keep case files, notes, and deadlines current and complete.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive work style with the ability to anticipate next steps and keep cases progressing.
• Comfort with legal technology platforms (e.g., Clio, Microsoft 365, Zoom, etc.) is a plus.
