Job Summary:

As a Door-to-Door Sales Representative, you will be the face of Nova's Painting Inc., responsible for generating new leads, building relationships with potential clients, and closing sales for our painting services. You will play a critical role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and approaching homeowners, business owners, and property managers who may require painting services. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your sales skills, work independently, and contribute directly to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively canvas neighborhoods, commercial areas, and communities to identify potential customers in need of painting services for their homes, businesses, or properties.
  • Customer Engagement: Introduce Nova's Painting Inc. to potential clients, providing information on our services, past projects, and the quality of our work.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct detailed, persuasive sales presentations tailored to each potential client's needs, highlighting the benefits of our painting services, warranty options, and paint packages (Good, Better, Best).
  • Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospects, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about our services, materials, or pricing.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments for in-home or on-site consultations, where our project managers can provide detailed estimates and discuss the specifics of the painting project.
  • Closing Sales: Negotiate and close sales contracts, earning 5-7.5% of the total contract value for each sale you close.
  • Follow-up: Maintain regular communication with prospects and clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the sales process and following up after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research: Keep informed about local market trends, competitors, and potential new areas for canvassing. Provide feedback and insights to management to help refine sales strategies.
  • Reporting: Track and report daily activities, leads, appointments set, and sales closed. Provide regular updates to the sales manager regarding your progress and any challenges encountered.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing team to align on messaging and promotional efforts, and with our project managers to ensure smooth handoffs of new clients.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: Previous experience in door-to-door sales, outside sales, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not required. We value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients.
