We are seeking a CDC (Cable Distribution Center) Manager to lead and manage our warehouse facility in Columbus, OH. You will join an Operations Team that is key to the ultimate customer experience at DWC requiring execution at the highest level. This individual must be a dynamic manager who consistently pays attention to details and processes, yet can be flexible and manage through change. Willing to work alongside a small team, when needed, the manager is focused on maximizing the skillsets of personnel while executing on standards around order fulfillment, distribution center effectiveness, inventory accuracy and personnel management. The ideal candidate for this position possesses a combination of relevant experience, exceptional leadership skills, strong work ethic, adaptability, and a passion for achieving organizational goals. 

What you will be doing:

• Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of wire and cable
• Excellent customer service
• Maintain a culture of Zero Harm
• Ensure accuracy of inventory and product deliverables
• Implement processes and policies 
• Provide direction and leadership to the operations team
• Assess talent of direct reports and provide development opportunities
• Motivate and facilitate teamwork for optimal performance
• Hire, train, grow and discipline warehouse personnel
• Manage supplies and equipment for location
• Organize and manage vendor relationships
• Understand and manage facility budget
• Promote company culture through leadership behavior
• Effective communication with internal and external entities 
• Operate with a sense of urgency while maximizing productivity and profitability
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

• 5+ years  of experience in a distribution center and production management role with experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, order fulfillment and freight management
• P&L Management experience
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and management skills
• Track record of building strong teams and developing others
• Strong ability to develop relationships both internally and externally
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively 
• Proven ability to make decisions and delegate
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a heightened attention for detail
• Highly developed organization skills with a proven ability to work in high stress situations
• Must exhibit urgency and a commitment to superior service levels
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills 
• Comfortable with google suite and various software applications
• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 100 lbs.)
• Ability to work in a position that requires prolonged standing, frequent bending, stooping, twisting and reaching
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Salary Range: $75-90K based on degree of experience
