Empower Students, Shape Futures

As a Bilingual English/Spanish Tutor, you’ll provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring in Math, Reading, and Writing to students whose first language is Spanish. Many of these students have varying levels of English proficiency, ranging from no comprehension to semi-fluent. You’ll bridge language gaps, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed academically. You’ll also collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop personalized learning strategies tailored to each student’s needs.

Qualities We Seek:

• Fluency in English and Spanish: Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills in both languages are required.
• Passion for Education: A strong commitment to helping bilingual students succeed academically and personally.
• Academic Strength: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Commitment & Flexibility: Ability to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school and participate in monthly training.
• Collaborative Spirit: Willingness to work alongside teachers and school leaders to maximize student success.
