Job Description

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Accountant to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Ridgefield, CT. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and expectational time management skills. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.

Role Overview:

• Contract Role: 12 months
• Pay: $30-35/hr on W2
• Schedule: Hybrid scheduled, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities: 

• Perform journal entries
• Support month-end close responsibilities
• Handle account reconciliations
• Prepares asset, liability, and financial account entries

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• SAP experience is required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience creating presentations and writing reprorts
